2024 Annual Fellowship Gathering : Fri 23 – Sun 25 February 2024

The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick. DE55 1AU

Bookings will close: 31st January 2024, 11:45pm

2024 Theme: "Come, Lord Jesus, Come"

The theme for our 2024 Fellowship Gathering is based on Revelation 22 where Jesus makes an amazing statement in verse 20 that He will be coming ‘quickly’ or ‘soon’ (depending on the version we read).

The writer then responds “Amen, Come, Lord Jesus”.

And we hear ourselves gladly join in the chorus, “Come, Lord Jesus, Come”.

But we cannot be passive bystanders of that incredible promise. In fact, Jesus recruited us into His Kingdom in order to be his active agents on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to help usher in His Kingdom. The Great Commission of Jesus (Matthew 28) is very explicit in that:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

So what have we, the DFB&I, done in 2023 to fulfil the Great Commission and enhance the Kingdom of God? And what do we think the Lord is calling us to do in 2024, and beyond to continue the work?

During this gathering we will look again at what that co-operation with the Holy Spirit might look like both corporately and individually. We are asking the Lord to come, but are we listening in case he is saying to us “Come” ? … and, more importantly, are we willing to follow?

Let’s celebrate where we have been and pray and wait on the Lord for where we are going. Come along as we:

  • Join together in sung worship to the Lord.
  • Wait on the Lord in times of personal devotion.
  • Catch up with old friends and make new ones; laugh, hug, network!
  • Learn about our work in 2023 and what is planned for 2024.
  • Join in prayer for the work of DFB&I and our wider global PRMI family.

I loved coming to the Gathering last year. Chatting with friends old and new; feeling part of God’s wider family especially as we prayed; and learning how to serve together. Everything we did charged me up to go home with an eager expectation of what God is going to do next.
– Jane

And remember… everybody is welcome! It’s always precious to connect with Dunamis family both old and new, and it’s a great opportunity to introduce your friends to what we do.

Book your place early to avoid disappointment...

Our 2023 Fellowship Gathering was a truly wonderful event, but we were oversubscribed for residential places… last-minute enquirers were disappointed to find that they were unable to attend!!

So, don’t miss out in 2024. PLEASE BOOK EARLY!! We have already reserved a few more places than last year, but if we know soon enough that demand has risen even more then we may be able to further increase the numbers.

Will the 2024 Fellowship Gathering be online?

Our 2024 Fellowship Gathering weekend will be in person only.
However, we understand many within the Fellowship are unable to attend for a variety of reasons.

For those that cannot attend, we will be recording all of the main sessions during the weekend and then releasing those videos around Easter time. This means non-attendees can still see the presentations and get up to date with what’s going on.

We will have a catch-up session over Zoom on Monday 8th April (in the evening) providing an opportunity for Q&A about the presentations, or indeed any other questions about the work of DFB&I. As usual we will email out reports on the various areas of work within the ministry ahead of the Fellowship Gathering weekend in February. Those coming to the catch-up session can also ask questions about those reports.

More information about this will be available nearer the time. For now, save the date!
