7:00 – 8:30pm, Wednesday 18th December 2024 (Online)
We are excited to invite you to our Christmas special event: ‘Behold’
Join us for a 90-minute experience where we explore the Christmas story through the role of the Innkeeper, who opened ‘a door’ to the coming of our Saviour. What does it mean for us to open ‘the door of our hearts’ to Him this Christmas time?
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him… – Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him… – Revelation 3:20
In the midst of the troubling events happening in our world, why not take this opportunity to refocus on the amazing hope and grace that was bestowed on all mankind at Christmas? Let’s remind ourselves that this same hope and grace can be ours, regardless of our circumstances, if we open the door to Him.
Come and pause a while, in the busyness of festive preparations, to join in with:
uplifting worship
poetry, prose and a short Christmas message
prayer and reflection
Lord, we thank you for the example of the Innkeeper who opened a door to you on that first Christmas Eve. His small act of obedience and compassion is recorded for all to read. Help us as we prepare for Christmas to see the bigger picture of what is going on in your kingdom and to open doors of hope and grace to all that we meet. Amen
Fellowship & Fun
The Zoom call will open at 6:50pm for you to arrive, check your audio/video is working, and fellowship before we start. The event will begin promptly at 7pm.
At the close of the event, the call will remain open for 30 minutes for people to chat and exchange Christmas greetings. So grab your favourite Christmas treat, and stay on the call to catch up with friends old and new.
Register
You need to register to receive your personal access link to the Zoom call. We have 80 spaces available, so please register sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
As we have a limited number of places, if you register and can no longer attend, you should be able to cancel your place from Zoom’s confirmation email. This will then free up the space for someone who is able to attend. We also kindly ask that couples join together from a single device where possible.
A reminder of the Zoom details will be emailed to all registrants about an hour before we begin so it’s fresh in your inbox.
