A four-week course exploring the connection between the work of the Holy Spirit and the life of the local Church.
This is not a quick-fix, off-the-shelf programme to ‘magically’ make your church get bigger. Rather, it is an approach and ethos that permeates the breadth of a church’s programmes and activities.
How can your church grow in its practice of cooperating with the Holy Spirit?
Using the analogy of partners in ballroom dancing, we will consider:
Systematic teaching that is rooted in scripture and grounded in the realities of local church life.
Encountering the Holy Spirit together and alone.
Reflecting together on the theology and practice of nurturing churches who are growing in cooperating with the Holy Spirit.
The teaching was excellent, the leadership was sensitive to the Spirit and embodied both structure and flexibility, the constant intercession from their prayer team was impressive and fruitful.
This course will be running on the following Wednesday evenings at 7:00-8:30pm UK time (non-UK participants should note that clocks change due to daylight saving part-way through).
You must register for this course to receive your personal Zoom link for the calls.
Please do not share this link with others – they will need to register themselves for this course.
The same link will be used each week, so please make sure to keep it somewhere safe.

This course was developed alongside the book, Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit, which is used as the text for the course. Written by Brad Long, Paul Stokes and Cindy Strickler, this presents Two Foundations and Seven Dynamics for a church to grow in cooperating with the Holy Spirit so that it expresses the Kingdom of God in its local context.
DFB&I is a faith-based ministry and we do not charge for any of our teaching.
At some point during the course, you will be given an opportunity to hear more about the work of this ministry. If you are blessed by the teaching and the Lord prompts you to give, then we will be sharing with you how you can make a donation.
If you would like to explore this before the course begins, you can head over to our Donations page for more information.
