During Jesus’ earthly ministry he brought healing, of various kinds, to those he met. He continues this ministry through his followers today, often in prayer with those who are experienced in discerning what the Holy Spirit is saying. Jesus is our healer and he is able to bring us into greater freedom to walk with him.
Our Dunamis Healing Ministry team has been putting together a course to train and equip others in Healing and Deliverance Ministry, so that you too can be part of bringing others into freedom.
The course is designed for you to study in your own time at a pace to suit yourself through online learning. It is likely to take you approximately one year but may be shorter or longer, depending on the time you have available. It is available as self study units (modules) which you will complete and answer some questions at the end to consolidate your learning.

Jesus invites us to participate in His healing ministry. Our mission is to see God’s Kingdom come on earth by advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God the Father.
Our purpose is to equip and train Christians to partner with Jesus for the work of healing and deliverance through ministering to others by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not providing a method of counselling or therapy.
There are two strands to becoming a prayer minister:
A clear understanding of basic Christian theology and the nature of the spiritual battle experienced in this life are essential foundations for effective healing ministry. A deep and intimate relationship with God is also vital.

Applicants will be assessed for their suitability for this course (based on their submitted application form), and those who are successful will be notified by the Course Coordinator.
1. It is preferable that participants will have attended the following Dunamis Projects (preferably onsite):
a) Dunamis Project #1 -Gateways to Empowered Ministry
b) Dunamis Project #2 – In the Spirit’s Power
(Students new to this material will be able to access catch up sessions)
Contents from the following will form part of the course material:
c) Dunamis Project #4 – The Healing Ministry of Jesus
d) Dunamis Project #5 – Spiritual Warfare and Kingdom Advancement
2. Have the endorsement of the local Pastor and a friend who can speak to the person’s call and gifting for healing and deliverance ministry. References will be required.
3. Submit a completed application to the Course Coordinator.
4. Be accepted onto the Course.
5. Have access to the internet to attend Zoom meetings, watch videos, and participate in prayer ministry sessions over Zoom.
6. Be willing to attend local prayer ministry sessions in person, where possible.
Students will be advised of their individual study content at the beginning of the training,
according to their prior experience.
Students are responsible for their own costs (including travel where needed). You will need to purchase course manuals and the required reading books (see Application Form for more information).
There are no membership fees or subscriptions since the Dunamis Fellowship Trust operates on a faith-basis – we rely on donations to both maintain and develop our ministries. However, please be aware there is a cost to offering this course, which includes the expense of development, administration, producing materials and the participation of the mentors and teachers. You are asked to pray about whether you feel led to contribute financially.
The application process for this course opens in September 2025.
Applications must be submitted by the end of November 2025.
The pilot of this course will have the first students begin in January 2026.
