Christmas 2025 : ‘Celebrate’

7:00 – 8:45pm (UK time), Thursday 18th December 2025 (Online)

Come and CELEBRATE with us at our 6th Annual DFB&I Christmas Special!

As we look around at our troubled world, it’s easy to lose sight of Emmanuel – God with us – the Almighty God who loved us so much he came to our rescue. In the busy preparations of the season, let’s pause and reflect together on God’s awesome salvation plan and celebrate that he has included us in it.

In this online experience we will trace the real Christmas story from the eyes of the Prophets who ‘saw’ the coming Saviour, through to the Shepherds who were astonished to see the Host of Angels, and on to the Wise Men who ‘saw’ the star that led to the newborn king. How might we receive a fresh-eyed look at the best-known story in the world?

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests
Luke 2:14

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.
Luke 2:14

We’ll be celebrating over zoom, joining not only with one another, but with all the hosts in heaven as we:

  • worship together in traditional carols and modern songs.
  • reflect on the prophetic Scriptures and the narrative of the birth of Jesus
  • pray with, and for, one another

Lord, give us spiritual sight to take a fresh look at the age-old narrative of the birth of Jesus, Your Son – Our Saviour. And as we look, give us a greater understanding of the amazing gift of your Son, born in such difficult circumstances and troubled times, and still providing the answers to the difficult circumstances in which we live. We can never thank you enough, but we can celebrate! Amen

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
