Dunamis Project # 1 : Gateways to Empowered Ministry

Jesus entrusted his followers with a mission, and instructed them first to wait until the Holy Spirit had equipped them for the task. Yet many Christians today have little first-hand experience of the Holy Spirit’s empowering work.

Our understanding and expectations may be limited by a lack of teaching. Our worldview might be influenced by assumptions and prejudices that are different from the Bible. Past experiences and hurts can make us wary. And so, sadly, we settle for much less than God intended in our discipleship.

Learning from the breadth of Bible teaching, and looking especially at the example and teaching of Jesus, we will explore how Christians today can know the presence and power of the Holy Spirit themselves.

Through Biblical teaching, discussion, practical experience and thoughtful reflection, you can grow in:

  • Understanding who the Holy Spirit is
  • Grasping four key works of the Holy Spirit
  • Seeing how Jesus cooperated with the Spirit
  • Being filled with the Holy Spirit for service

Join us for this life-changing event, and discover how much more God can do in and through you !
