Exousia 2.0 – Leadership Development

Thursday 28th – Friday 29th September 2023
(plus integral online meetings)

St Andrew’s URC, Watling Street, Canterbury, Kent. CT1 2UA

Exousia 2.0

Exousia is the Dunamis Fellowship’s leadership development program for multiplying ministry. The course equips our teachers and leaders to understand and embody our DNA, to function well as teams, and to deliver our courses faithfully and effectively.

The course was significantly updated in 2022, a step-change indicated by the ‘2.0’ version number.

Who is the course for?

This equipping is vital for our ‘ambassadors’. For Track Directors, and for making the move from Apprentice Teacher to Teacher in the Dunamis Institute, this is a required course.

Exousia 2.0 is also highly recommended for all members of a Dunamis Track leadership team so that there is a shared understanding of the principles and ethos that are addressed in the course.

The lessons and insights are valuable for all who volunteer in any kind of leadership role within Dunamis, and existing Track Directors and Teachers are definitely welcome to participate.

Note that all of these – online and onsite – are integral components for the course.

Thursday 7th Sept (7 – 9pm) – online via Zoom

Saturday 16th Sept (9am – 1pm) – online via Zoom

Thursday 28th Sept (9am – 9pm) – at St Andrew’s URC, Canterbury

Friday 29th Sept (9am – 9pm) – at St Andrew’s URC, Canterbury

Wednesday 4th Oct (7 – 9pm) – online via Zoom

The teaching sessions will address:

  • Testimony, teaching and group work about spiritual leadership; challenging leadership scenarios; and our own call into leadership.
  • Questions of authority; operating by the Holy Spirit and resisting the schemes of the evil one; functioning effectively as a body made up of diverse giftings and personalities; koinonia, woundedness and the fruit of the Spirit.
  • The distinctive purpose and challenges in leading the first two Dunamis Project topics (Gateways to Empowered Ministry & In the Spirit’s Power).
  • A ‘lab-work’ approach to the evening sessions, with teams of participants assigned to prepare and lead, and then the session being debriefed by the Exousia leadership team.

Some of these topics will be handled during the online sessions.
